The Science of Inner Peace

The Science of Inner Peace

Throughout history, there have been numerous instances where the cause and effect relationships assumed by individuals and societies were later proven to be not only erroneous but also rooted in superstition or unverified beliefs. These examples highlight the fallibility of early scientific methods and serve as a reminder of the constant need for critical thinking and empirical evidence. In this essay, we will explore ten such instances where wrong science led to misguided practices and inaccurate assumptions.

1. The Incas and Finger Amputation:

One misguided belief held by the Incas was the notion that pulling the fingers off babies would drive away evil spirits and ensure better crop yields. This practice was based on the erroneous correlation between the screams caused by the pain and the presumed expulsion of evil spirits.

2. Aristotle and Trepanation:

In ancient times, physician Aristotle believed that drilling a hole in a patient's head, known as trepanation, could relieve pressure and pain associated with various ailments. Unfortunately, this practice has been long disproven and was based on a lack of understanding regarding human anatomy and physiology.

3. Miasma Theory and Disease Spread:

During the medieval period, the miasma theory emerged, suggesting that diseases were caused by foul-smelling air and uncleanliness. It was believed that bad odors were the primary sources of illness, which misled people into focusing on odor control instead of addressing the real causes of diseases.

4. Bloodletting:

Bloodletting, widely practiced from ancient times through the 19th century, was based on the belief that removing "impure" blood could cure various ailments. This fallacy persisted due to the mistaken understanding of the role of blood in the human body, ultimately causing needless suffering and fatalities.

5. Phrenology:

Developed in the late 18th century, phrenology proposed that the shape and size of different regions of the skull corresponded to specific personality traits and mental abilities. However, subsequent scientific progress revealed that phrenology lacked empirical evidence and was merely a pseudoscience.

6. Eugenics:

Eugenics, a popular belief in the early 20th century, promoted selective breeding to improve the genetic quality of the human population. This theory was later debunked, as it not only disregarded individual rights but also ignored the complexities of genetics, culture, and society.

7. Geocentrism:

For centuries, it was widely believed that the Earth stood at the center of the universe, with celestial bodies revolving around it. This geocentric model was replaced by the heliocentric model developed by Nicolaus Copernicus, proving the inaccuracies of the former.

8. Spontaneous Generation:

Spontaneous generation, the belief that living organisms could arise spontaneously from non-living matter, is a classic example of wrong science. This theory persisted until the 19th century when it was challenged by Louis Pasteur's experiments, which established the concept of biogenesis.

9. Phlogiston Theory:

Phlogiston theory, prevalent in the 17th and 18th centuries, posited that a hypothetical substance called phlogiston was responsible for combustion. However, the discovery of oxygen and advancements in chemistry disproved this theory, providing a more accurate understanding of combustion processes.

10. Polywater:

Polywater, a supposed new form of water with unique properties, gained attention in the 1960s. It was later discovered that the observed properties were the result of impurities in the samples and not a distinct form of water. This example highlights the importance of rigorous testing and skepticism in scientific inquiry.

Conclusion:

The examples above illustrate how erroneous cause and effect relationships, rooted in faulty scientific assumptions or incomplete knowledge, have influenced societies throughout history. As science progresses, it is crucial to critically evaluate ideas, rely on empirical evidence, and embrace a spirit of inquiry to avoid falling into the trap of wrong science.

So how does this relate to modern relationships and understanding how people blame their emotional blame in an erroneous and faulty way.

Here is the answer.

When something happens to annoy us, or “hurt our feelings” we think the reason is the event. Someone cuts you off on the freeway, for example, and you think your reaction is due to the person or the event.

But guess what?

This is not true at all!

The real reason we feel inner pain, anger, disbelief, and even hate is because, when the event happens, it triggers a shift in us from unity and oneness, to duality and separateness.

The shift is instantaneous, and that is partly why we make the erroneous correlation between what happened and our anger.

We live within a Universe which has design, trajectory and flow.

You might say it has a will and maybe even an intelligence.

It wants greater and greater amounts of consciousness and will do anything to get it.

Including making a person feel bad.

Like making our skin feel pain if we accidentally touch a hot stove burner.

So we feel the inner pain, and we blame the person, or event.

But, the real reason for our pain is that, because of our immaturity, ego, self-importance and self-will, we have flipped our identity and, rather than flow WITH the Cosmos, now we are AGAINST it.

And that is the source of the inner discomfort.

Period!

Therefore, rather than blame the person or event for our inner pain, what should we do?

The answer is see that we have flipped, gone “RED”, and are out of sorts, and, before anything else, shift back “Green Shift” back in the direction of the trajectory of the Universe.

Toward unity, away from duality, and back into right relationship with the truth that we are one.

The website www.redgreenwhite.com is dedicated to teaching this new science about healthy relationships.

The purpose of this video was to show that, just like other “wrong science,” blaming things outside of ourselves for how we feel is not correct.

The reality that we feel upset because we have shifted out of oneness to duality, that is the truth of why we get angry, scream, react and blame.

And let’s be very clear: The Universe in unfriendly to ignorance, and very friendly to truth.

It’s method to emerge consciousness in the human is to penalize any misorientation to its will.

Like it or not, that’s the way things work.
